Where to Find the IMEI on an Android Phone
A practical guide to locating an Android IMEI through the dialler, settings, device packaging and account records.
Most Android devices expose the IMEI in a few standard places, although exact menu labels depend on the manufacturer and software version.
Use the dialler
On many devices, entering *#06# in the built-in phone app displays the IMEI. Some models or dialler configurations may behave differently.
Check Settings
Look under Settings → About phone, Device information or Status. Dual-SIM phones may display more than one IMEI; use the identifier requested by the relevant service.
